I've found this really hard in my life. My very own son whom I dearly love has recently gone back into drugs. We had to finally say enough is enough - mercy must end! Love was telling us that we needed to let go and let God show up in his life. Sink or swim - its his life not ours. WOW - that's a hard pill to swallow. I don't have all the answers in fact the older I get the less I know. I do know that he is in the hands of the Almighty God and He will not let him go. As a parent I think the hardest thing we can do is to trust God with our children. We want to be in control and save them. I am beginning to realize that they will do what they want - take whatever you give them and learn nothing. So God... it is your turn - I surrender - He is yours. I will trust You.
